High Performance Computing Committee

Creation and evolution of a shared high-performance and data-intensive computing infrastructure for advanced research is a strategic priority of the University of Florida. Significant faculty hiring in scientific and engineering disciplines such as nanostructures, new materials, biochemistry and biological physics, genetics, and life sciences all require such a powerful, sophisticated infrastructure to be competitive. The HPC Committee is charged with developing and overseeing an effective response to this challenge. See the High Performance Computing Center Web site for further details.
