GatorCloud Email provides students with 50 GB of storage and access to UF’s global address list, which includes contact information for UF students, faculty, and staff. The cloud mailbox is both web accessible and can be downloaded to mobile devices.
GatorCloud Email is coming soon for Faculty and Staff in departments who don’t already have UF Exchange. Voluntary migrations will open to Faculty and Staff later in Spring of 2015.
OneDrive @ UF
OneDrive @ UF provides 1TB of cloud file storage. Cloud storage makes it easier to access files from different devices and locations—there is no need to save documents to a flash drive when traveling or using a different device. In addition to file storage, OneDrive allows you to create and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote documents within your web browser or on your mobile device.
Lync IM & Video Collaboration
Lync makes collaboration easier with instant messaging and availability status information. Users can create and join video, audio, and web meetings, as well as screen-share during meetings and chat sessions.
UFIT is pleased to provide access to free copies of Office 365 ProPlus to UF students, faculty, and staff.
