About the IT Awards
The IT reorganization focused on unifying the IT environment on campus, and these awards mirror that commitment. The UF IT Awards and Recognitions Program seeks to recognize those individuals and teams who bring out the best in each other, serve our customers with distinction, and honor those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep university systems running.
Everyone was encouraged to nominate deserving peers in one of three award categories, which include:
- collaboration, innovation and leadership
- exceptional customer service, and
- outstanding work behind the scenes.
A plaque will be awarded for each award category. In addition to a single plaque, winning team members will each receive personalized certificates.
