Changes to GatorLink Password Reset Coming in July
Beginning July 10, the GatorLink Account Management system will undergo a security upgrade similar to the two-step authentication many banks and credit unions now use. The upgrade will change the process required for resetting forgotten passwords or completing the annual GatorLink password renewal. To change a password, users will receive an authentication code via text (SMS) or phone call that must be entered on the appropriate screen. Before the upgrade, be sure to log in to myUFL and update your current listed home or cellphone number. If a correct phone number isn’t available, a visit to the UF Computing Help Desk with a photo ID will be required to complete a password reset.
