Testing and Active Learning Center Opens
The new Testing & Active Learning Center in the Computer Science & Engineering building offers a unique blend of space, furnishings, and technology for students and instructors. The center is specially designed to support large-enrollment STEM courses with 14 round tables and 126 seats in a sub-dividable space. Each table comes with a computer for each student, laptop ports, and large-screen displays that can be delegated to student control by the instructor. While the space functions as an active learning classroom by day, it is also a computer-based testing center at night, complete with portable privacy panels to use during proctored exams.
The TAL Center is located in CSE E235 and can be reserved at labs.at.ufl.edu
